About Sparks Photography:

Sparks Photography started in San Antonio, Texas and has since moved from Eastern Oklahoma all the way to Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. I'm in love with what I do and am very honored to be a witness to so many special moments in people's lives and to be there to document it for them.

  • very true!!

  • Ilan + Yael

    January 6th, 2010

When I first met Ilan and Yael, I immediately noticed how warm-hearted and kind they are. I was very excited when they informed me that they had decided on me as their photographer. (This was my first wedding in Switzerland and my first Jewish wedding!)

It was such a pleasure to work with them. They were very laid back and gave me free rein with my ideas for photos. When I had my alone time with them to do photos in the city, they rocked it! Even in the moments that I wasn’t suggesting positions, they came up with their own and did some great acting/modeling too.

Thank you two very much for an amazing time and for your incredible hospitality.

I’ve saved up a few images I think would make nice desktop backgrounds. Click on the images to take you to a large file for downloading. Let me know what one you like best!

    Sara G.

Sara and I hung out one afternoon to take some portraits as a gift to her boyfriend. I heard he liked them quite a bit. Me too! Sara, you’re gorgeous!

Anna, a White Dress, and a Field of Yellow Blooms.

    November 4th, 2009

I took these photos of my friend Anna back in May. I’ve just recently finished all the edits and have a few of my favorites here to share.

This could be considered a TTD (trash the dress) session but we just got a little dirt on it. These types of photos can be made after the wedding at any time. Anna waited a few years to put her dress back on and take these. It think it was well worth digging it out of the closet!

    Annie + Eric’s Beach Portraits

    August 12th, 2009

A couple days after the wedding, I met up with Annie and Eric again for some couple portraits on the beach. We went up to Ko’olina Resorts since the sunset would be nice there. They are so sweet together but of course you can see that for yourselves.
