Rebecca is expecting their second little boy in just a few weeks! She contacted me several months ago once she learned that I lived in Germany as well. She was referred to me by Jessica from San Antonio!
We live about 3 hrs away from the Rivas family but it we were happy to come out. They happen to live near the largest base in Germany and we sometimes refer to it as Little America. They have a Chili’s and soon a Macaroni Grill! That’s very exciting for us Americans in Europe. We shot the portraits at Burg Nanstein in Landstuhl.
It was nice to meet you all! Thanks for the fun afternoon of shooting. And Rebecca, you’re gorgeous!

You might recognize little Jake from photos we did a few months ago. He came back for his 1 yr photos and to eat a little cake!
The other reason was to take some maternity photos of Jessica. And we did these just in time! Little Abigail decided to show up a month early! She and mommy are doing great and I’ll post a few photos of her in a few days. Congratulations Kimberling family!

Anne and Patrick are getting married in August and they’ll be the second wedding I’ve shot here in Germany. I wrote to Patrick last summer in response to an online inquiry about wedding venues in this part of the country. I replied with a shameless plug for my photography in lieu of a venue suggestion. 6 months later, Patrick and Anne got back in touch and were very interested in working with me. Hooray for the wonderful interweb and the messaging forums =)
We shot their engagement session on the grounds of the Schloss Dyck where they will hold their reception. The castle is amazing but so are the grounds surrounding it. Beautiful couple, beautiful location, what more could I ask for?

Little Tay just turned one and the Avery family came in for some photos to celebrate that milestone. Tay’s got a lot of personality packed in that little body! She’s so happy, adventurous, and neat. Look how careful she was with that cake!

The Dagosta family came over a few weeks ago for some portraits. The boys had a lot of fun playing in the back yard and I got a little look into how Benji might be in a couple years. Boys rock!
