Natalie

I had the great privilege of photographing Natalie’s mothers’ wedding last year at a beautiful little stone church in Fayetteville, AR. Not long after the wedding, Yvette and I were trying to plan out a portrait session for Natalie.

I met Natalie and Yvette in downtown Ft. Smith to start things off. We actually ended up driving to quite a few different locations for variety AND because it was a scorcher that day. We hit up the old Trolley Museum, the River Park, the First Presbyterian Church, and various other cool spots. Long story short: we were hot, had fun, and got some amazing photos of an awesome girl. I definitely have to do another session with Natalie when she’s a senior.

Sharla + Ray

On my trip home to Oklahoma I was able to book a wedding right across the border in Charleston, Arkansas. The couple and the guests were all very relaxed and just ready to have fun, which makes my job easy!

After the ceremony, I drove the couple back to their home for some gorgeous portraits. The whole wedding was planned to be on their property but due to extremely high temperatures, everything was moved to the building where the reception was to be held.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Shirley! Thanks for having me along for your celebration.

And yes, I was feeling the b+w images for this post! =)

Happy Birthday Chase!

I came over to the Chase’s house and chased him all over to get some portraits. =) He is such a happy baby and very playful. I didn’t get to meet Dad, but I can tell he gets some of that fun personality from his Mommy. Thanks little man and hope you had a great first birthday!

Zamorra Family

The Zamorra family met me at Trinity University in San Antonio for portraits. They were referred to me by Jessica + Justin, who I’ve done maternity, engagement, and bridal portraits for.

Baby Landon is such a cutie pie! He was so serious at first and trying to figure out who I was and what I was doing. Corey and Carrie are so sweet and I can tell they’re great parents. Thanks so much guys! Hope I can work with you again the next time I’m in town!

Little Miss Hailey

My son Benjamin and Hailey have been BFFs for their whole lives. Hailey was 3 months old and was one of our first visitor in the hospital when Benji was born. So, I had to bring him along to play since they haven’t seen each other in over 6 months. First they took a ride on a mini carousel, then they moved to a jeep where Benji stole a couple of kisses!

The second part of our session was actually a couple of days later. Apparently, there is a special dress that has been passed around and all the girls in the family have had their photo taken in it. So, Hailey is the latest member of the family to wear ‘the dress’.

Thanks for letting me run around after you with a camera. =) Ben says he misses you.
