On our wedding day, we hardly realized she was there, but the photos she took were simply amazing. "While scientists are theorizing how one particle can be two places at one time, Sparks' photographer, Catherine, seems to have the quantum theory figured out. How did Catherine capture two events happening at the same time? We still don't know. Not only that, but our wedding was at a bed & breakfast, so we had rented a few rooms, and she found every one of us. We joke, she may have climbed a tree or two.
On a serious note, my husband and I knew we wanted journalistic style photos. Living in New York, we looked at several photographers online. Catherine's work stood out. Her photos impress a feeling upon you, in a spirit her own. My husband and I are both artists, and we know that is not an easy thing to do. We corresponded via email and phone. She was quick to respond, which is very important when you're planning from out of town! It was a pleasure to learn that Catherine, also, has that personality which gets along with everyone. It wasn't a question, she would be easy to work with and trust. She came up with a package tailored for our needs, as we would be flying back to New York.
