About Sparks Photography:
Sparks Photography started in San Antonio, Texas and has since moved from Eastern Oklahoma all the way to Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. I'm in love with what I do and am very honored to be a witness to so many special moments in people's lives and to be there to document it for them.
I took these photos of my friend Anna back in May. I’ve just recently finished all the edits and have a few of my favorites here to share.
This could be considered a TTD (trash the dress) session but we just got a little dirt on it. These types of photos can be made after the wedding at any time. Anna waited a few years to put her dress back on and take these. It think it was well worth digging it out of the closet!
A couple days after the wedding, I met up with Annie and Eric again for some couple portraits on the beach. We went up to Ko’olina Resorts since the sunset would be nice there. They are so sweet together but of course you can see that for yourselves.
I was so excited when I was contacted by Annie last fall to do her wedding in Hawaii. Annie had seen photos I’d done of mutual friends Savannah and Jhordan. I was very honored that they liked my work enough to seek me out and have me be a part of their wedding.
This was the first Marine wedding that I’d attended as well as my first in Hawaii. Those guys in uniform look so sharp! I think we have photos here they can use for the next print Marine ad!
I always say I have the greatest clients and it’s true. This family was no exception. They were so warm and kind and made me feel right at home with them. And again, I love sisters! These sisters were soooooo sweet! You could tell just how much they love each other and how close they all are.
Thank you two so much for a wonderful experience and for having me there. Hope to get back to the islands again someday and maybe we can do some baby photos then! 
Lydia and Tito were married in San Antonio June 13th. Their gorgeous ceremony was held at the Alamo Heights Methodist Church with the reception held at Granberry Hills
This couple is so down to earth, warm, fun, and so sweet. They have the most romantic and touching love story I’ve ever heard. I won’t go into all the details but let’s just say, childhood sweethearts, distance, reunion, love, trials, more love, and then marriage. There were tears. Lots of them. (From everyone.) At the ceremony and at the reception. Happy tears of course! But a tear is a tear and they’re pretty hard to see through when you’re trying to take photos! =)

I am so lucky that this wonderful couple found me! They are so sweet, so in love, and so perfect for each other. Denika is from Australia and Martin is a native German so naturally they met in London. =) Their wedding was held in Heimerzheim, Germany. The reception was held in the castle Burg Heimerzheim which was just a short walk from the church.
