Sparks Photography started in San Antonio, Texas and has since moved from Eastern Oklahoma all the way to Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. I'm in love with what I do and am very honored to be a witness to so many special moments in people's lives and to be there to document it for them.
I really love watching a family grow through images. I did Diana and Kelly’s maternity photos, baby Audrey’s newborn photos, and now, her 6 month portraits. She is such a sweet little girl and so happy and curious about everything. Especially how things taste!
Little Jake is 8 months old and probably the happiest baby I’ve ever met! Jessica and Ray did a wonderful job of keeping him happy and interested in what was going on. Thanks for coming over and playing ! =)
You might remember mom and dad’s maternity photos from a few weeks back. Well, Gabriella made her appearance 2 weeks ahead of schedule! She’s a beautiful little girl and is already strong and has a big personality. We’d hoped to capture a few sleepy shots where we could pose her a bit more, but she was pretty determined to NOT sleep the whole time. She probably cat-napped 4 or 5 times during the session, but never for longer than 10 min. She didn’t want to miss anything!
So the total tally is…. 31! Not too bad! =) Thank you everyone that participated. I think this might be something I will blog again next year. Maybe we can double it next time!
My family and I are about to head back to the US for Christmas and New Years. We’ll be flying from Germany to Virginia on the 23rd, driving up to New Jersey on the 26th, driving from NJ to Oklahoma on the 28th and then back from OK to VA on the 3rd… crazy, huh?! We’ll have lots of time on the road to eat a little of all the fast food we’ve missed. I just hope we don’t run into any bad weather…. That 22 hr drive is already going to feel like forever with our 2 yr old in the back!

This one is a Photoshop edit I did on Monday. I took an awesome photo of the moon that night and then merged it with an older bridal portrait.
Here is my son being a lion at his b-day party last weekend.
And these next photos are from a maternity session done last week. Sean and Elizabeth are so sweet! They already have 2 daughters and now they’re expecting a little brother for them. So exciting!! I hope I get the chance to photos them as a family once the little man comes home.
Benji always asks me to blow bubbles for him when he’s in the bath. We’ve been practicing on his bubble blowing skills lately. He often puts the wand directly on his lips and leaves the soap behind. Can you guess what happens then??
