A couple days after the wedding, I met up with Annie and Eric again for some couple portraits on the beach. We went up to Ko’olina Resorts since the sunset would be nice there. They are so sweet together but of course you can see that for yourselves.

Annie + Eric’s Beach Portraits
Wednesday, August 12th, 2009Annie + Eric
Wednesday, August 12th, 2009I was so excited when I was contacted by Annie last fall to do her wedding in Hawaii. Annie had seen photos I’d done of mutual friends Savannah and Jhordan. I was very honored that they liked my work enough to seek me out and have me be a part of their wedding.
This was the first Marine wedding that I’d attended as well as my first in Hawaii. Those guys in uniform look so sharp! I think we have photos here they can use for the next print Marine ad!
I always say I have the greatest clients and it’s true. This family was no exception. They were so warm and kind and made me feel right at home with them. And again, I love sisters! These sisters were soooooo sweet! You could tell just how much they love each other and how close they all are.
Thank you two so much for a wonderful experience and for having me there. Hope to get back to the islands again someday and maybe we can do some baby photos then!

Zielke and Birkeneder Families
Wednesday, August 12th, 2009These families have to be some of the sweetest people I know! We know the Zielkes from BRCC as well and Jenni’s parents and sisters (and soon to be brother-in-law) also came so they could do some extended family photos.
I love sisters. I love how they look alike and interact together. The Birkeneder girls are just so darn cute too! Thanks for bearing the heat with me everyone! Hope we’ll be seeing you again soon!
Whitaker Family
Wednesday, August 12th, 2009The Whitakers are one of the awesome families that we became friends with via our church BRCC in San Antonio. They’ve had another little one since we saw them last summer. Aren’t the girls adorable?! They both have such beautiful hair and eyes!
They were real troopers for these photos too. It was I think about 103 degrees on the Riverwalk that day. Wonder what the heat index was! In the short amount of time we were shooting, we got some great ones!
The Other Oostdyk Family
Wednesday, August 5th, 2009Randy’s older brother Ray and his family live in Florida. We were very happy that it was possible to go visit them this summer. They wanted some updated family portraits of themselves, as well as for some updated prayer cards for their mission work. Ray is a pilot for Missionary Flights International sending aid to Haiti, the Bahamas, and the Dominican Republic.
Ray and Tammy also have their own website that describes themselves a bit and speaks about their mission: http://FlyForHim.org/ (My very talented brother-in-law Michael designed their site!)
